# SikaMur InjectoCream-100 and rising damp
SikaMur InjectoCream-100 is intended for a chemical damp-proof course in suitable masonry. Diagnosis must distinguish capillary rise from rain penetration, plumbing leaks and condensation.
Wall type, thickness, voids, floor level, salts and external water are relevant. A leaking pipe or crack needs a different repair. Damaged plaster may retain salts after the moisture source is controlled.
