Negative-side waterproofing is applied from the interior side when external access is limited. Water pressure is already acting through the structure, so cracks, joints, penetrations and substrate preparation are critical.
Cementitious coatings may form one part of the solution. In basements, the complete approach can also include injection, drainage, joint treatment and moisture control.
